The Board of County Commissioners for St. Mary's County and the Southern Maryland Delegation will hold a joint public meeting on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chesapeake Building Meeting Room in Leonardtown to present the legislative proposals received from various sources for inclusion in the 2009 Legislative Package of St. Marys County and to receive public comment.

The National Student/Parent Mock Election (NSPME) is pleased to announce that the 2008 Mock Election will be carried out -- with the collaboration of Google -- in schools all across Maryland, as well as in all 50 states, Washington D.C., and in American schools overseas. Google will collect all the votes and host the national election headquarters for the NSPME at its Washington, D.C.
