In 2008, citizens in St. Mary's County may vote on a US President and Vice President, a Congressional Representative, two Appellate Court Judges, three Board of Education Members, and two ballot initiatives. Members of the Democratic Club of St. Mary's County will elect club officers at their November meeting.

The polls are open in St. Mary's County from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. If you are in line at 8 p.m., you will still be allowed to vote. Less busy times of day are between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
